My thanks goes out to Patrice Walker for nominating me for the Versatile Blogger award. Patrice loves to crochet and also designs her own patterns. She shares her patterns and other crochet news over at Yarn Over, Pull Through. You can also find her blogging over at Hubpages, where she writes about crocheting as well as other interests.

The Versatile Blogger Award is my first award that I have ever received for this website. I am greatful to accept it, as well as to pass it on to 15 other great bloggers.

The 7 Things About Me

1.) My favorite hobby is to play with yarn. I prefer to crochet as well as to design new patterns.

2.) Matcha Tea from Teopia, steamed broccoli and chia seeds, are three of my best friends. (Or, perhaps I should say wormwood tea, garlic and cloves.) I guess it all depends on how I look at it. :) Sugar is my worst enemy. (Absolutely no doubt on that one.)

3.) Three is my favorite number. English is my third language to speak, Canada is the third country that I have lived in, and it took me three decades to figure out how to make money by doing the things I love most.

4.) My motto: I will do each day what I can do, and God will do the rest.

5.) Important lesson that I have learned: Of all the problems that surround me, the only ones that are truly mine are those that I can fix. The rest belong to God.

6.) Currently I am battling a 30 some odd year parasite infestation. I've come a long way in the last year, but still have a long ways to go.

7.) Last but not least, my super-hero is David Wolfe from "The Best Day Ever." Without his work, and the work of others like him, I would not be where I am today.
