3-Inch Chain-Stitch Afghan Square
This is a super simple afghan square to crochet as it only requires that you know how to do the chains and the single crochet stitch.
It is another 3" afghan square that you can incorporate into an afghan with other squares. Due to the simplicity of it, I wouldn't make an afghan out of just this square, but I do have an idea on how to incorporate it into a near future afghan.

CA = Inner Color
CB = Outer Color
Lp/Lps = Loops/Loops
Sc = Single Crochet
Sl St = Slip Stitch
St/Sts = Stitch/Stitches
With CA, ch 4, join with sl st to form ring.
Rnd 1: Ch 1, (sc, ch 2) into ring 4 times. Join with sl st. (4 ch-2 lps)
Rnd 2: Ch 1, (sc, ch 3) in first st and in each lp and st around. Join with sl st. (8 ch-3 lps)
Rnd 3: Sl st into lp. Join CB, ch 1, (sc, ch 3) in same lp and in each lp around. Join with sl st. (8 ch-3 lps)
Rnd 4: Sl st into lp, ch 1, (sc, ch 3) twice in the same lp, (sc, ch 3) in next lp, *(sc, ch 3) twice in next lp, (sc, ch 3) in next lp, repeat from * around. Join with sl st. (12 lps) Fasten Off.
