3-Inch Raised Center Afghan Square

3-Inch Raised Center Afghan Square

This is a free crochet pattern for a very simple 3-inch afghan square. The square begins to curl up a bit at the first round, and curls over even more once you do the back post double crochet stitches in the second round. As a result, it creates a nice raised circle in the center.

Material: Paton's Canadiana, The New Generation, or any medium weight yarn. You will need a small amount of 2-3 colors, depending on whether or not you want to make rnd 3 the same color as the first or not.
