Broomstick Lace Chunky Crochet Scarf Broomstick Lace Chunky Crochet Scarf

This broomstick lace chunky crochet scarf works up fast, and you only need 1 80g/2.8oz. ball of Bernat Softee Chunky yarn to make a 5 by 50 inch scarf. Due to the nature of the scarf pattern, you could even make a shawl or a blanket by increasing the number of beginning chains. To do so, simply chain a multiple of 5 plus 1, then continue in the pattern.

Due to the broomstick lace, this free crochet pattern is suitable for those who have already mastered the basics of crocheting. Broomstick lace however, is not difficult to do; if you can crochet, then you will not have a problem with doing the lace. All you need in order to do broomstick lace crochet is your yarn, a crochet hook suitable for the yarn, and a large knitting needle. The size of the needle is not relevant; however, the bigger the needle, the lacier your work will be.
