Broomstick Lace Cowl
Here is a free crochet pattern for a broomstick lace cowl. It is very easy to make once the basics of crocheting and broomstick lace have been mastered. The only stitches required are the chains (chs), slip stitch (sl st), single crochet (sc), double crochet 2 together (dc2tog) and the broomstick lace st.
Broomstick lace is worked by pulling up loops onto a knitting needle from left to right. This row is referred to as the loop row. The loops are then worked off the needle with regular crochet stitches from right to left.
