Elegant Clustered Wrist Warmers
This wrist warmer crochet pattern is fast and easy to crochet up. I used Patons Brilliant yarn, but due to the nature of the pattern, you can use just about any type of light-weight yarn. You could use a thicker yarn, but it would not allow for as many stitches around and therefore, would not look as lacy.
You can use this pattern to crochet up a pair of matching legwarmers, a cowl, a headband or ear warmers. To make it wider simply increase the beginning chains by a multiple of 4, and to increase the length simply do more repeats of round 2. For the headband and ear warmers omit pattern row 6 in order to avoid the flare.

Special Stitch Instructions
Beg Cl Shell: Ch 2, yo and insert hook into same ch, yo and pull through, (yo and pull through 2 lps) twice, ch 3, (yo and insert hook into same ch, yo and pull through, yo and pull through 2 lps) twice, (3 lps on hook), yo and pull through all 3 lps.
Cl Shell: *(Yo and insert hook into ch, yo and pull through, yo and pull through 2 lps) twice, (3 lps on hook) yo and pull through all 3 lps*, ch 3, repeat from * to * once in same ch.
Ch 24 (28, 32), or any multiple of 4, join with sl st to form circle being careful not to twist the chs.
Rnd 1: Beg cl shell in same ch, *sk next 3 chs, cl shell in next ch, repeat from * around, sk last 3 chs, join with sl st. (6, (7, 8) cl shells)
Rnd 2: Sl st into center ch of cl shell, beg cl shell in same ch, (cl shell in center ch of next cl shell) around, join with sl st.
Rnds 3-5: Repeat rnd 2.
Rnd 6: Sl st into center ch of cl shell, beg cl shell in same ch, cl shell in sp before next cl shell, *cl shell in center ch of next cl shell, cl shell in sp before next cl shell, repeat from * around, join with sl st.
Rnd 7: Repeat rnd 2.
Rnd 8 (Edging for both ends): Sl st into lp of cl shell, **ch 1, 5 sc into same lp, ch 1, *5 sc in next lp, ch1, repeat from * around, join with sl st. Fasten off.** Reattach yarn to any lp of the beg chs and repeat from ** to **.
