Filet Heart Coaster/Square
Free Coaster Crochet Pattern
Thank you to all those who let me know about the printing problems. I think the "Print Friendly" code is working again. Not sure what the problem was but it should be working now. Let me know if you still run into issues.
And you can still right click and select print. It will give you a clean ad-free layout of the page. After you select print you can change the destination in the top left and save it as a PDF, fax it, or send it to your Google Drive. :)
Here is my first filet crochet pattern. It is for a heart, which you can use as a coaster or as an afghan square. As for the yarn to use for this pattern, I used a size 10 crochet thread, but any other yarn will work just as well.
Personally, I think this would look lovely in a cotton bedspread. I'm thinking of making pink and white hearts and then join them together with a red thread. Or, I could do red and white hearts and then join with pink...or black...not sure yet. Ahh if only I could slow down time while crocheting then maybe I'd get to crochet all the things I want to make.

Thank you so much for testing this pattern for me. Both of you were awesome to work with, and I look forward to working with you again in the future.
Skill Level: Intermediate
Yarn: Crochet Thread size 10
Metal Hook Size: 7/1.65mm
Finished size: 3.5 by 3.5 inches (After the edging, the width measures slightly more than the height. It is hardly noticeable if worked in crochet thread, but a thicker yarn will result in a greater difference making it somewhat rectangular.)
