Row 1: (RS) Dc in 3 ch from hook, dc in next 4 chs, *ch 6, sk next 6 chs, dc in next 5 chs. Repeat from * once. Turn.

Row 2-9: Ch 2, dc in first 5 sts, *ch 6, sk lp, dc in next 5 sts. Repeat from * once. Turn. Fasten off after row 9.

With right side of work facing, pull up the loops starting at the bottom to create the Jacob's Ladder. Place stitch marker in top loop.

Edging: With right side of work facing, attach yarn to top right corner. Ch 3, (counts as first dc), work another 3 dc in same corner st, dc in next 4 sts, (sl st into top Jacob's Ladder lp, dc in next 5 sts,) twice, *work another 3 dc in last corner st made, work 17 dc evenly along side,* 4 dc in corner st, dc in next 4 sts, (fptr around next 2 lps, dc in next 5 sts), twice, repeat from * to * once. Join with sl st to first dc. Fasten off.
