I used a Goody Hair Elastic and size 3 crochet thread to make this loopy hair scrunchy. Due to its simplicity, however, any type of yarn, thread or scrunchy will do. The only difference is that if you use a yarn that the loops will not be as evident unless you make them fairly large.

The pattern works up fairly fast and will look good in just about any one's hair.

Material: Size 3 Crochet Thread and 1 hair scrunchy
Hook Size: 3.00 MM

Rnd 1: Secure yarn to a hair scrunchy, Draw up a loop and ch 1, sc 50 to 60 times around scrunchy. Join with sl st. (If you are using a yarn then you won't need this many stitches, perhaps 30 or 40 will do.)

Rnd 2: Ch 1, work 2 loop stitches in each st. Join with sl st. Turn.

Rnd 3: Ch 1, work 1 loop stitch in each st. Join with sl st. Fasten off.
