Hook size: H/8-5.00MM
Gauge: 3/4" over 1 hdc row, 1" across 3 hdc sts.
Finished size: small, medium, large.
Small measures: 20" in circumference,
Medium measures: 21" in circumference,
Large measures: 22" in circumference.
For a custom fit simply increase or decrease beginning chs by 4 chs.
Abbreviations:
CA = Color A
CB = Color B
Ch = Chain
Chs = Chains
Hdc = Half double crochet
Lp = Loop
RS = Right Side
Sc = Single Crochet
Sk = Skip
Sl st = Slip stitch

Instructions are given in smallest size, medium and large sizes are in brackets. ()
With CA, ch 56, (60, 64) join with sl st being careful not to twist ch.
Rnd 1: (RS) Ch 1, sc in first ch, ch 3, sk next 3 chs, *sc in next ch, ch 3, sk next 3 chs. Repeat from * around, join with sl st to first sc.
Rnd 2: Ch 1, hdc in first st, 3 hdc in ch-3 lp, *hdc in next st, 3 hdc in next lp. Repeat from * all around, join with sl st.
Rnd 3: Ch 1, sc in each st around, join with sl st.
Rnd 4: Ch 1, hdc in each st around, join with sl st.
Rnd 5: Ch 1, sc in first st, ch 3, sk next 3 sts, *sc in next st, ch 3, sk next 3 st. Repeat from * around, join with sl st. Fasten off.
Edging: With RS facing work edging around both top and bottom edge.
Picot: Ch 3, sl st in third ch from hook.
With CB, join yarn to lp, ch 1, 4 sc in same lp, picot, *4 sc in next lp, picot. Repeat from * around, join with sl st. Fasten off.
