Here is a free crochet pattern for a pair of simple flared wrist warmers. They are quick and easy to crochet up and have nice flare to them. I used Red Heart Comfort yarn, but due to the nature of the pattern, you can use any kind of yarn that you like.

The crochet pattern is given for a pair of wrist warmers, but by increasing the beginning chains, you can also crochet a matching pair of ankle warmers. To customize the circumference, simply increase or decrease the beginning chains in multiples of 6. You can also increase the length by doing more repeats of round 2.

Hook Size: H/8-5.00MM

Chain 24 (or any multiple of 6), join with sl st to form ring being careful not to twist the chains.

Rnd 1: Ch 1, sc in each ch around, join with sl st.

Rnds 2-6: Ch 1, sc in each st around, join with sl st.

Rnd 7: Ch 1, sc in first st, ch 7, sk next 5 st, *sc in next st, ch 7, sk next 5 sts, repeat from * around, join with sl st.

Rnd 8: Ch 1, sc in first st, ch 9, *sc in next st, ch 9, repeat from * around, join with sl st.

Rnd 9: Ch 1, sc in first st, *sk the first 2 unworked sts of rnd 6, working in behind the lps of rnds 7 & 8, work 9 tr in next st of rnd 6, sk next 2 sts of rnd 6,** sc into next sc of rnd 3, repeat from * around ending at **, join with sl st. Fasten Off.
