Material:Size 3 Crochet Thread (2 150 yard skeins)
Hook size: E-3.50MM

Finished size: 61" long and 6.5" wide. Each motif measures approximately 6" across. Make 10, or as many as needed to achieve desired length.

First Motif:

Ch 4, join with sl st to form circle.

Rnd 1: Ch 1, work 8 sc into circle, join with sl st.

Rnd 2: Ch 8, (counts as first tr and ch 4) (tr, ch 4,) in next st all around, join with sl st to first tr. (8 loops)

Rnd 3: Sl st into loop, ch 1, (6 sc) in each loop all around, join with sl st. (48 sc)

Rnd 4: Ch 1, sc in same st, ch 6, skip next 5 sts, *sc in next st, ch 6, skip next 5 sts, repeat from * all around, join with sl st to first st. (8 loops)

Rnd 5: Sl st into loop, ch 1, (3 sc, ch 3, 3 sc) all in the same loop, *ch 3, (3 sc, ch 3, 3 sc) in next loop, repeat from * all around, ch 1, hdc in first sc.

Rnd 6: Ch 7, (counts as first tr and ch 3,) *2 tr in next loop, ch 3, repeat from * all around, tr in first loop, join with sl st to first tr.

Rnd 7: Sl st into loop, ch 1, (3 sc, ch 7, 3 sc) in same loop, *(3 sc, ch 3, 3 sc) in each of next 3 loops,** (3 sc, ch 7, 3 sc) in next loop, repeat from * all around ending at **, join with sl st. Fasten off.

Second or Joining Motif:

Rnds 1-6: Same as for first motif.

Note: Motifs are joined with a sc at 2 corner ch-7 loops, and the corresponding ch-3 loops along one side. When joining the motifs insert the hook from the wrong side into designated loop.

Rnd 7: Sl st into loop, ch 1, 3 sc in loop, ch 3, sc into corresponding ch-7 loop of completed motif, ch 3, 3 sc into same loop on current motif, *3 sc into next loop, ch 1, sc into corresponding loop of completed motif, ch 1, 3 sc into same loop on current motif, repeat from * another 2 times, 3 sc in next loop, ch 3, sc in corresponding ch-7 loop, ch 3, 3 sc in same loop on current motif, (one side joined) **(3 sc, ch 3, 3 sc) in each of next 3 loops,*** (3 sc, ch 7, 3 sc) in next loop, repeat from ** all around ending at ***, join with sl st. Fasten off. DO NOT fasten off on last joining motif, continue with edging.

Picot: Ch 3, sl st in third ch from hook.

Edging: Sl st into next 2 sts and into loop, ch 4, (counts as first tr,) 4 tr in same loop, 5 tr in next loop, *(3 dc, picot, 3 dc) in each of next 3 loops,** 5 tr in each of next 2 loops,* repeat from * to * up to corner loop ending at **, 10 dc into corner loop, (3 dc, picot, 3 dc) in each of next 3 loops, 10 dc into corner loop, repeat from * once, (3 dc, picot, 3 dc) in each of next 3 loops, join with sl st to first tr. Fasten off.

To Block:

Simply dip in water and squeeze out any excess water with a towel. Lay flat and shape to desired shape and size using pins if necessary. Let dry.
