Free Crochet Pattern for the Criss Cross Shrug for the Fashion Doll.
Barbie looks like she’s having a romantic conversation, doesn’t she? Perhaps she’s out on a date with Ken … or maybe she’s just dreaming of him. She’s in a world of her own, so I guess we’ll never know, will we?
The Criss Cross Shrug for the Fashion doll is elegant and goes well with the Barbie Tube Dress that was published a while back. It’s an elegant outfit and perfect for any girl who likes to play dress-up with her dolls.
The shrug pattern given here fits Barbie perfectly, however, you can easily increase the size to fit any doll you like. Or, crochet it for your children or yourself. Details on how to make this a custom fit can be found at the original pattern: Criss Cross Cocoon Shrug.
As for materials, I used a fine yarn for Barbie, which I recommend. But if crocheting this for larger dolls you could experiment with thicker yarns if you like.
