Comfort Ear Warmer

I called this the comfort ear warmer because I used Red Heart Comfort Yarn. However, due to the nature of the pattern, you can use just about any type of yarn that you have on hand. You can basically make the ear warmer any size that you want.

It is a very simple pattern, but it has some nice vertical textured lines to add a bit of character to the design. The vertical textured lines are created simply by alternating the stitches into the back and front loops.

Material: Red Heart Comfort, (or any yarn desired)
Hook Size: H/8-5.00MM

Ch 11,

Row 1: Sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across, turn.

Row 2: (Working in back loops only) Ch 2, dc in each st across, turn.

Row 3: (Working in front loops only) Ch 1, sc in each st across, turn.

Repeat Rows 2 & 3 ending with row 2, until desired length reached. Join with slip sts to foundation chs. Do not fasten off, continue with edging.

Edging: Sc evenly around both edges.
