Seed Stitch Cup Cozy
A simple and free crochet pattern for a seed stitch cup cozy. The crochet seed stitch results in a similar effect as the knitted seed stitch and adds a nice texture to the fabric. This crochet pattern is worked in rounds, so the ribs appear in a spiral, which can be seen on the side facing away from you as you crochet.
The seed stitch is worked by alternating between the single crochet (sc) and the double crochet (dc) stitches. In the second row of seed stitches, the single crochet stitch is not worked into; rather, both the stitches are worked into each double crochet stitch.
