Woven Name Labels by Nametapes and Labels

Nametapes and Labels

This post is a bit different than most of my posts, but I couldn’t resist because I thought it would be such a good match.

This post has not been paid for, however, the company did purchase an ad slot on this website. I’m simply writing about it here, because I believe their woven name labels will be of value to many of my readers.

These woven name labels are great if you have a shop where you sell finished handmade items, or if you give a lot of handmade gifts. The labels are sew on labels, so they can be attached to anything that is crocheted, knit or sewn.

These labels are a great way to:

  • Advertise your shop or designer name.
  • Personalize the gifts for your recipient, especially for baby and children’s items.
  • Add a personal note to your handmade gifts such as “Made with Love by: _____.”

The labels can be used on:

  • Clothing and accessory items.
  • Baby and children’s toys.
  • On personalized and handmade gift cards and tags.
  • For scrapbooking

Here is a link to a picture that was posted by one of their Swedish customers: Style and Life by Leia. It looks like the tag was sewn into a crocheted amigurumi toy.

Here are some details provided by the company in regards to their business and their labels:

  • Nametapesandlabels.com is a Swedish company that was established in 1978
  • We sell high quality labels in 100% cotton (100% woven – no printing involved)
  • We offer free shipping worldwide
  • We have a preview service which allows you to see your finished labels including length etc
  • Minimum quantity 50 pcs

Also something that is kind of interesting to know is that we weave on looms that are from the 1860’s but now the looms are of course run by computers. You can see some films from the production here:

So hopefully you’re inspired to personalize your gifts or use their tags to help promote your business.

Thank you for reading and I hope you will enjoy.
