The Sizes
As already mentioned, the finished sizes of these crocheted shawls are customizable. For the triangular shawl you simply continue in pattern until you reach your desired size. For the rectangular crochet shawl patterns a stitch multiple is provided so you can increase or decrease as you wish.
The Yarn
Because the sizes are so easy to customize, you can easily switch to your favorite yarn and hook size. Just make sure that the yarn you choose is suitable for making shawls.
A light yarn is perfect for making summer shawls, while a worsted-weight acrylic yarn is perfect for making cozy winter shawls.
Adelaide – Single Crochet and ESC Cross Stitch Shawl

The Adelaide shawl pattern is worked in two pattern rows with one being a single crochet, followed by a row of extended single crochet cross stitches.
It is super easy and mindless to work on, perfect for relaxing at the end of the day.
HDC and DC V Stitch Crochet Shawl

If you love the v-stitch, then you will enjoy this v-stitch shawl. This is also a 2 row repeat, with one row worked up in the half double crochet v-stitch, and the second row with the double crochet v-stitch.
It is a very simple, yet pretty lace that you will enjoy wearing throughout the seasons.
Cross Over Long DC Crochet Shawl

Although labeled as an intermediate pattern, if you can make the basic stitches and are familiar with the cross stitch, then you will have no problem crocheting up this textured shawl.
The textured stitch is created simply with a long double crochet that crosses over three half double crochet stitches.
Bead and Lace PDF Triangle Crochet Shawl Pattern

This triangular shawl is started at the bottom point and crocheted until you reach the size that you want. Increases are made in each row along both sides.
Originally I crocheted this shawl in a fine yarn, but for the pattern as given, you will need a #2 yarn. You can substitute whatever yarn you have on hand, as gauge is not important for this shawl.
