Simple Striped Necklace Cowl
Maybe I’m having too much fun again, but I just can’t help myself. After crocheting the simple striped headband and cowl for Barbie, I figured, why not crochet one for people too! And so, here is the finished result. You don’t need much yarn, and it works up real easy too. It was actually a lot easier than the one for Barbie as I could actually see the stitches.
At first I figured this to be a plain cowl that wraps loosely around the neck. Then I thought it might look nice for a cozy cowl worn closer to the neck, and that’s when I came up with the cool curly thing… totally by accident! At least I think it’s cool. It is achieved by wrapping the scarf around and pushing all the curls to one end.
So as you can see, it’s great for the summer or winter. And it could be worn with just about anything that you like, from fancy dresses to casual tees and long-sleeved shirts.
