Ruffled Scarf and Scarflette – FREE Crochet Patterns

Material: Bernat Denimstyle, 4 100g. balls for the scarf, and 2 100g. balls for the scarflette.
Hook size: H/8-5.00MM
Finished size: Scarf measures 55″, Scarflette measures 27″.

Puff st: *Yo, insert hook into st, or sp, Yo and pull up a loop, repeat from * twice. (7 loops on hook), Yo and pull through all 7 loops.

Picot: Ch 2, sl st in second ch from hook.

For the Scarf:

Ch 118, continue with rows 1-5.

For the Scarflette:

Ch 60, continue with rows 1-5.

Row 1: 2 sc in second chain from hook and in each ch across. Turn. (234 sc for scarf, 118 sc for scarflette)

Row 2: Ch 3, (counts as first dc) dc in same first st, dc in next 2 sts, ch 2, sk next st, (puff st, ch 2, puff st) in next st, ch 2, sk next st, *dc in next st, ch 2, sk next st, (puff st, ch 2, puff st) in next st, ch 2, sk next st. Repeat from * to the last 4 sts, dc in last 4 sts. Turn.

Row 3: Ch 2, dc in first 4 sts, *ch 2, dc in ch-2 lp, ch 2, (puff st, ch 2, puff st,) in next ch-2 lp, ch 2, dc in next ch-2 lp, ch 2,** (puff st, ch 2, puff st) in next dc. Repeat from * to last 4 sts ending at **, dc in last 4 sts. Turn.

Row 4: Ch 2, dc in first 4 sts, *ch 2, dc in ch-2 sp, ch 2, (puff st, ch 2, puff st,) in next dc, ch 2, dc in next ch-2 lp, ch 2,** (puff st, ch 2, puff st) in next ch-2 lp. Repeat from * to last 4 sts ending at **, dc in last 4 sts. Turn.

Row 5: Ch 1, sc in first 4 sts, (2 sc, picot, 2 sc) in each lp to the end, sc in last 4 sts. Fasten off.

Button for Scarflette:

Ch 2, 15 sc in first ch, join with sl st. Fasten off and attach to scarflette about 3″ from end.
