Seasonal Stripes Wine Bottle Cozy
This wine bottle cozy is designed to fit a bottle that’s just under 3″ in diameter. However, with a bit of know-how, you can increase the diameter to fit any bottle size that you need provided you maintain your stitch count at a multiple of two.
And remember the 12 wine bottle cozies that I promised you last Christmas? Well this was one of the patterns that I wanted to publish… I just never found the time to perfect the pattern, let alone put the stitch tutorial together. But at last, I’m able to present it to you.
In the image below you see some that were published last season, as well as one that still needs a polish before I let you have that next week. It’s the cute Santa suit and hat. So stay tuned for that. Click the image below to see all cozies that are published so far, and scroll down for today’s pattern. Happy Holidays, and I hope you’ll enjoy.
Please do refer to the seasonal stripes stitch tutorial before attempting this. You’ll notice in the stitch tutorial I used four colors, but here it is shown in only three colors. The amount of colors you choose is up to you. More patterns in the seasonal stripes series can be found here.
This cozy itself has not been tested by anyone other than myself, so please let me know if you find any errors or if you have any questions. Thank you so much.

Notes & Special Stitch Instructions:
CA is always worked on top of CA. It is never joined to the other colors. It has it’s own rounds so to speak, and is worked every other round after rnd 4.
CB is joined with a Standing Crochet stitch to the 2nd st of rnd 5. CB and CC are joined to each other at color changes, but are never joined to CA.
Yarn is carried up at each rnd. To avoid a mess of the yarn, rearrange the yarn after each rnd.
See image below to help with Rnds 5 and after. For a detailed tutorial, please refer to this tutorial on how to work the stitch pattern, change to the new color and carry the yarn.
