Simple Striped Headband and Cowl for the Fashion Doll
I think I finally figured out how to crochet a cowl for the fashion doll! It has to be skinny so that it can be wrapped several times, just like in real life! How about that?! Anyway, I love it and it goes great with the Fashion Doll Tube Dress pattern. It’s got a nice two-toned look and works great for wrapping a few times.
And the headband too, it’s nice and stretchy, making it nice for staying on the head. This is what I love about the Loops and Threads Woolike. It creates a soft and stretchy fabric that is great for all sort of clothing and accessories. And so perfect for all your doll crochet!
The only problem I had with this pattern is that it was rather difficult for me to work into the back bumps. I felt like they were shrinking on me, which I blamed on the yarn. (don’t get me wrong though, I love this yarn!) And I found a spot by the window and with a little patience I managed to complete it without much frustration.
So I hope you’ll enjoy this design.
