Pattern instructions are given for a small sized wrap. To make a larger size wrap simply repeat row 10 as many times as needed to achieve desired length.

Crochet Summer Wrap and Matching Kerchief

Material: Size 3 Crochet Cotton Thread ( 3 150 yard skeins or about 5-6 oz.)
Hook size: E 3.50MM
Gauge: Measures approximately 7/8″ over tr sts.
Finished size: 52″ wide, 28″ long.

Row 1: Ch 4, 5 tr in first ch, ch 3, turn.

Row 2: 3 tr in first tr, ch 3, skip next 3 tr, 3 tr in last tr, ch 3 turn.

Row 3: 3 tr in first tr, ch 3, sc in loop, ch 3, 3 tr in last tr, ch 3, turn.

Row 4: 3 tr in first tr, ch 3, (sc, ch 5,) in first ch-3 loop, (sc, ch 3) in last ch-3 loop, 3 tr in last tr, ch 3 turn.

Row 5: 3 tr in first tr, ch 3, (sc, ch 5,) in first ch-3 loop and in each loop up to the last loop, (sc, ch 3) in last ch-3 loop, 3 tr in last tr, ch 3 turn.

Row 6-8: Repeat row 5. (2 ch-3 loops, & 5 ch-5 loops at row 8)

Row 9: 3 tr in first tr, ch 3, (sc, ch 5,) in first ch-3 loop and in next ch-5 loop, (sc, ch 3) in next loop, (3 dc, ch 3) in center ch of next loop, (sc, ch 5,) in next 2 loops, (sc, ch 3,) in last ch-3 loop, 3 tr in last tr, ch 3, turn.

Row 10: 3 tr in first tr, ch 3, (sc, ch 5,) in first ch-3 loop and in next loop, (sc, ch 3) in next loop, (3 dc, ch 3) in center ch of each ch-3 loop, (sc, ch 5,) in next 2 ch-5 loops, (sc, ch 3,) in last ch-3 loop, 3 tr in last tr, ch 3, turn.

Row 11-45: repeat row 10. ( repeats of row 10)

Row 46-48: Repeat row 5

Row 49: 3 tr in first tr, ch 4, sc in ch-3 loop, turn, 2 tr in top of last tr made, ch 3, turn, 3 tr in last tr made, sc in next loop, turn, sc into each of last 3 tr made, ch 3, turn, * 3 tr in first sc, sc in next loop, turn, sc into each of last 3 tr made, ch 3, turn. Repeat from * to end, 3 tr in first sc, sc in last tr of previous row, turn, sc into last 3 tr made. Fasten off for wrap.

Crochet Summer Kerchief

Material: Size 3 Crochet Cotton Thread (about 75 yards or 1 oz.)
Hook size: E 3.50MM
Gauge: Measures approximately 7/8″ over tr sts.
Finished size: 20 1/2″ wide, 11 1/4″ long.

To make the kerchief simply follow instructions of the wrap but do only 6 repeats of row 10 and do not fasten off at last row.

String 1: Ch 31, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across, sl st into top of last sc made in last row. Fasten off.

String 2: Join yarn in top of first tr made in last row, ch 31, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across, sl st into top of first tr in last row. Fasten off.
