Bouncy Bubbly Kitchen Crochet Hand Towel

July 18, 2014 · Rhelena · 1 Comment

This crochet hand towel is perfect for the kitchen, but can also be used in the bathroom, craft area, or at the spa. It has a nice texture to gently massage your hands as you wipe or dry them off.

It’s been a while since I did anything with a bead stitch, but I had a request for some help with it and as a result I came up with this towel pattern. You will need a bit of patience to complete this crochet project, but I’m sure you will be happy with the result.

A matching dishcloth pattern is available here.

The stretch in the fabric also makes this stitch pattern perfect for a crochet ear wamer or even a hat.

Pattern Information:

Skill Level: Easy

Materials:

Yarn: Bernat Handicrafter Cotton
Crochet Hook: I/9-5.50mm and G/6-4.25mm

Gauge: 3″ over 10 sts.

Finished Size: 15″ wide by 15″ high before the decrease rows.

Abbreviations:

Notes:
  • Ch-1 made at end of row counts as turning ch.
  • Keep your chs loose as the bead st is worked directly into the ch-1, and NOT into the ch-1 sp.
