The picot flower scrubby crochet pattern consists of only three short rounds and measures 3.5 inches across.

Crochet this adorable scrubby in one or more colors. One color is great if using it as a scrubby, but in three colors as shown you get a nice flower with a leafy edge. Thus, it’s the perfect applique for hats and headbands if you like.

Materials:
Yarn: Bernat Handicrafter Cotton #4
Crochet Hook: H/8-5.00mm

Finished Size: 3.5″ across the picots

Abbreviations:

CA = Off White
CB = Peach
CC = Green

Beg Cl = Beginning Cluster
Ch/Chs = Chain/Chains
Cl = Cluster
FO = Fasten Off
Hk = Hook
Lp/Lps = Loop/Loops
Sc = Single Crochet
Sl St = Slip Stitch
Sp/Sps = Space/Spaces
St/Sts = Stitch/Stitches
Yo = Yarn Over

Special Stitch Instructions:

Beg Cl: Ch 2, [yo, insert hk into same st as join, yo and pull through, yo and pull through 2 lps on hk] 3 times, 4 lps on hk, yo and pull through all 4 lps on hk.

Cluster (Cl): [yo, insert hk into designated st, yo and pull through, yo and pull through 2 lps on hk] 4 times, 5 lps on hk, yo and pull through all 5 lps on hk.

Picot: Ch 3, sl st in 3rd ch from hk.

For a solid scrubby, omit all color changes.

Pattern Instructions:

With CA, ch 3, join with sl st in first ch.

Rnd 1: Ch 1, work 6 sc into ring; With CB, join with sl st in first sc. (6 sts) FO CA.

Rnd 2: With CB, work beg Cl in same st as join, ch 2, (cl, ch 2) into next st and into each st around; With CC, join with sl st in first cl. (6 cl and 6 ch-2 sps. FO CB

Rnd 3: With CC, ch 1, (sc, picot, sc) in same cl as join, (sc, picot, sc) in next ch-2 sp and into each cl and ch-2 sp around; join with sl st in first sc. (12 picots) FO CC
