Crochet Soap Saver

This drawstring crochet soap saver pattern is perfect for use in the shower, while traveling, or for at home. It is nice and wide making it the perfect cozy for homemade soaps. Give it away in a gift basket, or use it in your own bathroom.

Collage of a crochet soap saver with a drawstring slightly open with a bar of soap.

With that said, it’s not just great for soaps, but for just about anything else that it can hold. Personally, I think it would make for a cute candy bag for Easter or Christmas.

It is not very tall, but you can crochet it as tall as you like by doing more pattern rounds. Thus, it could also serve as a phone cozy or small purse for the phone, keys, and maybe some change.

I used Bernat Handicrafter Cotton yarn, a medium #4 worsted weight yarn. It’s perfect for these types of projects because it’s strong and durable.
