This cute barbie doll dress pattern is very similar to the Fashion Doll Summer Dress, and thus is also a perfect match for the Summer Sun Hat and the ESC Fashion Doll Shrug.

The dress works up quick and easy and makes for a cute stocking stuffer for any young girl.

Another bonus of this pattern is that it can be crocheted to any size you want in a simple multiple of two.

Crochet Pattern Information:

Skill Level: Easy/Intermediate

Materials:
Yarn: Butterfly Mercerized Cotton (DK #3)
Crochet Hook: E – 3.5mm

Finished Size: Fits the 11.5″ Fashion Doll.

Abbreviations:

Ch/Chs = Chain/Chains
Dc = Double Crochet
Esc = Extended Single Crochet
Hk = Hook
Lp/Lps = Loop/Loops
Rep = Repeat
Sk = Skip
Sl St = Slip Stitch
St/Sts = Stitch/Stitches
YO = Yarn Over

Special Stitch Instructions:

Extended Single Crochet (Esc): Insert hk in st or ch indicated, yo and pull up a lp, yo and pull through 1 lp, yo and pull through both lps on hk.

Crochet Pattern Instructions:

Loosely ch 18, (or any multiple of 2.) Join with sl st in first ch being careful not to twist.

Rnd 1: Working into back bumps, ch 1, esc in same ch as join and into each ch around; join with sl st in first esc. [18 sts]

Rnd 2: Ch 1, esc in same st as join and into each st around; join with sl st in first esc. [18 sts]

Rnds 3-7: Rep Rnd 2.

Rnd 8: Ch 2 (does not count as st), sk st where join was made, *dc in next st, backtrack and dc in skipped st, sk next st; rep from * around; join with sl st in first dc. [18 sts or 9 crossed sts.]

Rnds 9-15: Rep Rnd 2. Fasten Off at last Round.
