Crochet Cowl Pattern – Spaced Spider Stitch

This easy striped cowl crochet pattern can be crocheted in as many colors as you like, to match your style or simply to clean up your yarn stash. While the pretty stripes help to bring out the wavy look of the stitches, you can also work this in a solid color for a beautiful, elegant look.

The cowl pattern is given in one size, but a stitch multiple is included, so you can easily resize it for a custom fit for children and adults.

Best yet, the crochet cowl pattern is easy to crochet, yet stylish enough that everyone will want one. And it’s the perfect match for this pretty striped hat pattern.

You can wear this cowl long like a scarf or wrap it around for a cozy neck scarf. You can also wear it over the head as a hood for an extra layer. When wearing it as a hooded cowl, it is a snug fit, so depending on your preference, you may need to increase the length a bit.
