FREE Bag Crochet Pattern

With a simple lining, this bag can be used for books and other small items.

This bag features picot stitches in every second round to give you a nice lacy and striped design.

The finished size of this bag measures only 10.5 by 9.5, but can be increased in size if needed. To increase the circumference you would simply do more repeats of the increase rounds that form the bottom. As for the height, you simply continue to crochet until it’s where you want it at.

I used a synthetic yarn for this. It stretches out a lot, so you definitely want to line this bag. Even if done in a cotton, I’d recommend that you line it. A tutorial for lining is here: How to Line a Crocheted Bag.
