Crochet Coffee Cup Cozy Pattern Information

As the title suggests, this cup cozy crochet pattern uses the half double crochet stitch along with v-stitches. Basically, one round is worked with the half double crochet, followed by a round of simple v-stitches and chain-one spaces.

It is easy and perfect for beginners once they are ready to crochet directly into chains.

Materials

For this crochet cup cozy I used a thinner cotton yarn called 24/7 Cotton by Lion Brand. Although thinner, it is still considered a worsted-weight yarn. However, it works well with a 4mm crochet hook, which allows for smaller stitches to give a pretty lace design..

Finished Size

Fits the average takeout coffee cup.

Although it can be used on all take-out cup sizes, this one is a bit smaller, and therefore I prefer to use this on the smaller cups. It can be adjusted in multiples of four, so if you use the large cups a lot, increasing by four chains might make it the perfect size for that.
