The Frolic Cowl ~ FREE Crochet Pattern
The Frolic Cowl ~ FREE Crochet Pattern

Here is the cowl to go with the Frolic Hat that was published earlier this week. I made it long and wide enough so you can wear it like a hooded cowl or as a regular cozy cowl. And it’s not pictured, but you could also wear this long if you wanted to.

The cowl has a nice textured edge, created by the Bead Stitch. The center is then crocheted simply with double crochet stitches.

It’s a very simple pattern that can be crocheted to any length that you want in a simple multiple of two.

Pattern Information:

Skill Level: Easy

Materials:
Yarn: Caron Simply Soft #4
Crochet Hook: H/8-5.00mm

Gauge: Approximately 3″ over 10 sts.

Finished Size: Laying flat it measures 26 by 9 inches.

Sorry, I can’t remember… I’m thinking one skein, but you might want to buy two just in case.
