This preemie blanket not only looks quick and easy to whip up, but it’s also super soft for the little ones to enjoy. Plus, it’s a mindless pattern to work on so you’ll enjoy making several of these in different colors.

The blanket is worked in rows with one color, and then the edging is worked in another to contrast or compliment.
It’s a small blanket for preemies, but due to the nature of the stitch you can easily adjust this to any size you like to accommodate bigger babies and toddlers.
The softness of the yarn will not only keep them warm, but comfort them as well. So why not make a couple to keep them company in their cribs as well as on the floor.
