A free crochet pattern of a crochet diamond ear warmer that matches this diamond hooded scarf pattern. The crochet pattern uses popcorn stitches to form diamond shapes on the ear warmer.
Due to the nature of the pattern, you can only make it in sizes that are either increased or decreased by 3 inches.

Hook Size: H/8-5.00 MM
Finished Size: Measures about 22″ in circumference and 3.5″ wide.
PC: Work 5 dc in st indicated, remove hook from loop, insert hook in first dc of 5 dc sts made, pick up the loop and pull through.
Row 1: Ch 12, sc in second ch from hook, and in each ch across. Turn.
Row 2: Ch 2, dc in first 4 sts, ch 1, sk next st, pc in next st, ch 1, sk next st, dc in last 4 sts. Turn.
Row 3: Ch 1, sc in each st and ch across. Turn.
Row 4: Ch 2, dc in first st, *ch 1, sk next st, pc in next st, ch 1, sk next st,* dc in next 3 sts, repeat from * to *, dc in last st. Turn.
Row 5: Same as row 3.
Row 6: Same as row 2.
Row 7: Ch 2, dc in each st and ch across. Turn.
Rows 2-7 form pattern, repeat another 6 times. Fasten off, leaving a long enough string to attach last row to first row.
Edging: Attach yarn to edge, ch 1, sc evenly around. Fasten off. Do this for both sides of the ear warmer.
