Blossom Stitch Crochet Floor Mat

This crochet floor mat pattern is perfect for the front room of your home, the living room, the bedroom, or the kitchen.

To make this, I chose Bernat Maker – Home Dec yarn. It is a bulky-weight yarn made with a blend of cotton and nylon. It is soft and perfect for your feet beside the bathtub or your bed.

You will need to line the mat with a non-slip backing if you plan on using it in the bathroom, kitchen or any other area with a smooth floor. Another option is to apply a non-slip coating on the back side so it doesn’t slip so easy.

The elongated version is quite large, even for the lid pictured above. The reason for this is because I received a request to make it fairly large (18.5″ by 16″).
