Pike Stitch Crochet Floor Mat

This quick and easy crochet floor mat pattern is worked up in a thick yarn to provide extra comfort for your feet as you take off your shoes at the front door, step out of the bathtub, or get out of bed in the morning.

The floor mat is easy to customize in terms of size and color. I crocheted mine in a solid color, but it is super easy to add a few stripes along the way to use up leftover yarn or to make it more interesting.

In terms of size, simply crochet until you reach the size that you want. Keep in mind, though, that the crochet mat will ruffle a bit, so you’ll need to block it before using it. Adding a sturdy liner to the bottom is all you’ll need for the mat to maintain its shape, even after washing.

This floor mat crochet pattern is worked in the round for a circular mat. For something different, you might like to try the Blossom Stitch Crochet Floor Mat.
