Make this preemie blanket with 2 skeins of Bernat pipsqueak yarn and a P crochet hook .

The blanket is worked in rows with one color, and then the edging is worked in another to contrast or compliment.

It’s a small blanket for preemies, but due to the nature of the stitch, you can easily adjust this to any size you like to accommodate bigger babies and toddlers.

The softness of the yarn will not only keep them warm but comfort them as well. So why not make a couple to keep them company in their cribs as well as on the floor.

If you prefer to work with a thinner yarn, you might want to check out this baby blanket crochet pattern, the cotton blanket, or this textured blanket, which is super easy to adjust in size.
