It’s more than just a pencil can cozy. As you can see, I’m using mine for my crochet hooks; but you can use it for your pens and pencils or anything else that needs a cute container.

Finished Size

The finished size is given to fit over a 3″ diameter. However, this cozy is adjustable, making it easy for you to crochet a cool jar or bottle cozy, cup cozies, can cozies, or anything else you have in mind… Your imagination is the limit.

To change the size, simply increase or decrease the diameter by eight stitches per round as started in the pattern before working in an even pattern.

The Yarn

I used an economic yarn, Red Heart Super Saver. Not only was this the perfect yarn for holiday colors, but it is durable and washes well. Choose any similar worsted-weight yarn to make this.

The Stitches

This free crochet pattern is worked up in the extended single crochet. It is slightly taller than the single crochet and gives you a pretty texture.
