Crochet Ponytail Beanie Pattern – Vivi
Whether you prefer to wear your hair up in a ponytail or a bun, this quick, easy crochet ponytail hat pattern is a stylish choice for cool weather. It features an opening at the crown to let your hair through to prevent your hair from getting squished into a hat.
Plus, on a small head, the brim covers the ears nicely, thus acting as a cozy ear warmer for cooler weather. If you are a medium or large, you can easily increase the brim to add more height to the hat, so you can take advantage of that as well.
Crocheted with big open stitches, this lightweight crochet hat pattern features a pretty lace that you can wear with almost any outfit.

I recommend washing this hat by hand and laying it flat to dry to maintain its shape. I didn’t add a hair scrunchie at the top, so it may get distorted in the washer or dryer. If you prefer a hair scrunchie, you might prefer this ponytail hat pattern.
While this is an easy pattern, if you are a beginner, you might prefer the single crochet beanie worked from the top down, or this beanie, which is worked from the bottom up.
