Single Crochet Beanie – Bottom Up
This bottom-up crochet beanie pattern is crocheted in a pretty striped color design for the fall season. I chose a light brown with red, but orange and yellow would also look great for the fall.
Choose your favorite seasonal colors or colors to match your favorite outfits for the fall and winter seasons.
The crocheted beanie is gender neutral, and although given in one size only, can easily be adjusted to fit all family members from baby to adult sizes. Just note, that if you adjust the height, you may need to adjust your stripes as well.
This easy crochet beanie is worked from the bottom up. For a different look, you might also enjoy this top-down single crochet beanie pattern.

Changing Colors
Colors are changed at the joining slip stitch of previous round.
To change color, finish the round as instructed, but without making the join. Insert your hook into the first stitch made in the round; pick up the new color and pull through the stitch as well as the loop on your hook.
Drop the old color and carry it up at each round.

If you are going to offer crochet patterns, do so without all the other garbage in between. I don’t have time to sit and crochet from the computer screen, need to print the pattern so I can make it when convenient for me. I am not going to print off all of the other things that have nothing to do with the pattern. My time and ink are too valuable.
Barbara, I’m sorry but the garbage you are referring to pays my bills, and also enables me to publish free patterns for those who can’t afford them. For those who can’t be bothered with the “garbage”, there’s a link at the top of the page to purchase the pdf in a clean, ad-free pdf.
