Simple Lace Crochet Boot Cuffs
These crochet boot cuffs are lightweight, but they may be just what you need to keep the cold drafts out of your winter boots. They are perfect for those who do not have a whole lot of room in between the boot openings.
Not only are these the perfect companion for knee-high boots, but you can also wear these around the ankles with any kind of boot of shoe. You can slip them over your socks for an extra layer of warmth with your favorite jeans, or even underneath your pajamas for the night.
Regardless of your preference, they make for great gift ideas for anyone living in cold climates.
The Size
The finished measurements for these boot cuffs are approximately 10.5″ in circumference by 5.5″ in height.
However, you can easily customize the circumference in a multiple of 6. As for the height, you can’t really add or omit any rounds without altering the pattern.
The Yarn
I used Red Heart Comfort Sport. It is a lightweight yarn, and combined with the simple lace, it gives you a nice soft fabric that you will enjoy wearing in your boots.
With that said, you can easily substitute with just about any other yarn that gives you a similar gauge.

The Stitch Pattern
These crochet boot cuffs are started along the ribbing rows and worked until you reach the desired circumference.
The ribbing is joined by slip stitching the last row to the first row.
From there you begin working in rounds, using only basic crochet stitches.
One key point to mention is that this pattern is turned after each round. It worked out better that way in keeping a straight seam, and still gives you a nice texture on the right side.
