Charisma Cowl for the 11.5″ Fashion Doll

Here is my Charisma Cowl for the fashion doll. I took the exact same pattern and sized it down to fit a doll. The original cowl was done in a chunky yarn, but for this one I decided to use a super fine (1) yarn.

Materials

  • Yarn: Woolike Yarn by Loops & Threads, super fine (1) yarn.
  • Crochet Hook: G – 4mm
  • Tools: Measuring Tape, Scissors, Yarn Needle.

Measurements

  • Fits the 11.5" Fashion Doll.

Abbreviations

Notes

  • Chains do not count as sts.

Instructions

  • Ch 60 or any multiple of 2; join with sl st in first ch being careful not to twist chs.
  • Rnd 1: Ch 1, (sc, ch 1) in same ch as join, *skip next ch, (sc, ch 1) in next ch; repeat from * around; join with sl st in first sc. (30 sc)
  • Rnd 2: Working in back lps only, ch 1, (sc, ch 1) in same st as join and into each sc st around (Note: do not crochet into ch-1’s); join with sl st in both lps of first sc. (30 sc)
  • Rnds 3-5: Rep rnd 2 until you have reached a desired height. FO at last rnd.
