Bonanza Brick Shrug

This free crochet shrug pattern is designed by Mistie from American Crochet. The shrug pattern is perfect as a cardigan or jacket alternative during the spring and fall weather!

In the summer, it’s the perfect companion for a tank top as the temperatures drop in the evening. The open front is just what you need to keep yourself cool while keeping your back and shoulders nice and warm.

This shrug looks like it’s a nice loose fit, which means it’ll look great with anything from a tee to a long-sleeved shirt. It’s just what you need to add an extra layer of coziness to any outfit.

The pretty lace and ruffles make it a perfect match for anything fancy including skirts and dresses. But, if you’re the t-shirt and jeans person, it’ll be a great match for that as well. It’s a great gift idea for just about anyone on your list.

This garment is made in one piece and seamed under the arms, to form the sleeves. The collar is worked around the body opening which also adds length to the back.

The free pattern is worked up in Caron Simply Soft using a 5 mm crochet hook. It’s a nice soft yarn, yet durable enough to last you a long time.
