This crocheted scarf works up quick and easy. It’s perfect for the summer as it’s not too hot and can be worn with just about anything you have in your closet.
Or, wear it in the winter under your jacket. It’s easy to crochet to any length so you can wrap it around as many times as you like for the warmth you need.
I crocheted mine in one color only, but you could experiment crocheting it in lots of cheerful stripes.
Material: Red Heart Comfort, or any other worsted weight yarn.
Hook Size: H/8-5.00MM
Row 1: Sc in second ch from hook, *ch 5, sk next 3 chs, sc in next ch, repeat from * to end of row. Turn.
Row 2: Ch 4 (counts as first dc and ch 1), sc in ch-5 lp, (ch 3, sc in next lp), twice, ch 1, dc in last sc st. Turn.
Row 3: Ch 1, sc in each st and ch across. (13 sc sts), Turn.
Row 4: Ch 1, sc in first st, *ch 5, sk next 3 sts, sc in next st, repeat from * to end of row. Turn.
Repeat rows 2-4 until you have reached a desired length, then repeat row 2 once. Turn and continue with edging.
Edging: Sc evenly around, working 3 sc in corner sts. Fasten off.
