Winter Drifts Crochet Coffee Sleeve

If you love textures, then you will enjoy this crochet coffee sleeve pattern. It’s crocheted in two colors using a worsted weight cotton yarn, and fits a standard take-out cup.

In the image above it’s shown on a large cup, but it’ll also fit nicely over a medium. I’m not sure if the small cups are the same as I never get the small … I drink a lot so a small is just a tease for me. :) With that said, if you need to make adjustments, simply decrease your starting chains in a multiple of two to get what you need.

Winter Drifts Crochet Coffee Sleeve

Skill Level: Easy

Materials:
Yarn: Bernat Handicrafter Cotton #4 (Small amount of two colors)
Crochet Hook: H/8-5.00mm

Gauge: Approximately 1.25″ over 4 sts.

Finished Size: Fits a standard cup.

Abbreviations:

CA = Color A – Lavender
CB = Color B – White
Ch/Chs = Chain/Chains
Rep = Repeat
Sc = Single Crochet
Sl St = Slip Stitch
St/Sts = Stitch/Stitches
Tr = Triple Crochet

Note:

Join new color in joining sl st of rnd. Do not fasten off, but carry the unused yarn up at each rnd.

Pattern Instructions:

With CA, Loosely Ch 28 (or any multiple of 2 in case you need to adjust), join with sl st in first ch being careful not to twist chs.

Rnd 1: Ch 1, working in back bumps, sc in same ch as join and into each ch around; With CB, join with sl st in first sc. (28 sts)

Rnd 2: With CB, ch 1, (sc, tr) in same st as join, *skip next st, (sc, tr) in next st; rep from * around; With CA, join with sl st in first sc. (28 sts)

Rnd 3: With CA, ch 1, sc in same st as join and into each st around; With CB, join with sl st in first sc. (28 sts)

Rnds 4-9: Rep rnds 2-3 until you have reached a desired width. Fasten Off at last rnd.
