Pretty Simple Crochet Credit Card Pouch

Make this crochet credit card pouch for your credit and ID cards, or use it to give away your gift cards during the holidays. Not only is it a good wrapping sleeve, but it’s something the recipient can reuse over and over again. And it’s a quick gift idea for those pressed for time.

It’s a pretty, yet simple stitch pattern that will look great in any colors including Christmas colors. Best of all, you only need a small amount of yarn, thus making it a nice stashbuster as well.

Finished Size

This crochet credit card holder is just the right size for all types of credit and debit cards. Gift cards, ID”s, business, and anything similar.

The finished size measures about 3.5″ across

Recommended Yarn

For this card pouch, you need something that is nice and sturdy and does not stretch out too much. I have found Bernat Handicrafter to be a good choice, but any similar worsted weight cotton yarn will work.

Special Stitch Instructions:

This pattern is worked with half double crochet stitches. The stitches are worked like a v-stitch, except you don’t make a chain in between the stitches.
