- Stitch Tutorial – Working in Rows and in Rounds.
- Working into back bumps.
To Change Color
Finish the round as instructed, but without making the join. Insert your hook into the first stitch made in the round; pick up the new color and pull through the stitch as well as the loop on your hook.
Drop the old color. Carry the unused color up at each row, or fasten it off.
Notes
When substituting yarn, choose a soft yarn that drapes well. Also, I found going up a hook size helps to give this stitch a lacier look and softer drape.
To reduce the appearance of a seam, keep your joining slip stitch loose when joining the closed half double crochet v-stitches.
