Tips For Choosing Your Yarn
If substituting with a different yarn, choose something soft, and go up a hook size, if needed, to achieve a more drapeable fabric.
I chose a color block yarn, but the stitch pattern also looks great in a self-striping yarn. Another option is to select solid-colored yarns in various shades to create your own unique stripes.
For this crocheted shawl pattern I used Queensland United yarn. I got mine at YarnCandy. It comes in a pack of six balls. If she doesn’t have it listed, contact her, and she might be able to order it for you.
