This pouch is crocheted in a spiral using the seed stitch. I love this stitch because both the right and wrong sides look good to me. Maybe I’m the only one, but the texture on the wrong side is nice especially when done up in two colors.

Materials
- Yarn: Red Heart Super Saver (Worsted Weight (#4) 100% acrylic, 7 oz/198g – 364 yds/333m)
- Hook Size: H/8-5.00mm
- Other: Scissors, Stitch Marker, Yarn Needle.
Measurements
- When laying flat it measures 3" across and 4" from top to bottom.

Notes
- The bag is worked in a spiral with the seed stitch – alternating between the single and double crochet stitches. Instead of fastening off, the color not in use is carried up at each round.
- To make it quicker to crochet I cheated and made part of rnd 2 as part of rnd 1. That way you're not constantly changing up on the colors. Then in the end I sort of evened it back out by ending the rounds at the half-way mark. "Sort of" meaning both rounds were ended in the same spot as opposed to one on each side where they began. That results in a slightly lopsided pouch, but it worked out better colorwise. (See images at bottom)

Pattern Instructions
- Rnd 1: With CA, make a magic circle, ch 1, (sc, dc, sc) into circle. Do Not Pull Tight. With CB, stsc into magic circle, dc into magic circle. Pull tight. Continue with CB and working into 3 sts made with CA, (sc, dc) into next 3 sts. First Rnd complete. (8 sts made with CB)
- Rnd 2: With CA, (dc, sc) in first st and into each st around. (16 sts)
- Rnd 3: With CB, *sc in next dc, dc in next sc; rep from * around. (16 sts)
- Rnd 4: With CA, *dc in next sc, sc in next dc; rep from * around. (16 sts)
- Rnds 5-8: Continue with rnds 3-4.
- Rnd 9: With CB, (sc in next dc, dc in next sc) 4 times; sc in next st, sl st into next st and FO CB leaving remaining 6 sts unworked.
- Rnd 10: Continue working with CA where you left off (see images below), (dc in next sc, sc in next dc) 4 times; sc in next sc, sl st in next sl st, sl st in next dc to join the round.
- Rnd 11: Continue with CA, ch 1, (sc, ch 2) in same dc as join, [sk next st, (sc, ch 2) in next st] 7 times; sk last sl st; join with sl st in first sc. (8 ch-2 sps)
- Rnd 12: Ch 1, *(sc, hdc, dc, hdc, sc) into next ch-2 sp; sc in next ch-2 sp; rep from * around; join with sl st to first sc. FO.
- Drawstring: With CB, ch 80 (or fewer if you don't what the string as long). FO and weave into the ch-2 sps made in rnd 11.

- CB is finished at end of rnd 9. Last 6 sts are left unworked.
- In Rnd 10, Continue with CA from where you left off in rnd 8.v
- Complete rnd 10 with a slip stitch in first double crochet.
- Rnd 10 completed and Rnd 11 started. It's slightly lopsided at this point, but now you have a single color that goes around the top.
- Rnd 11 is completed. Still a little lopsided but not much.
Really easy to make. But I decided only to use one colour instead of two. Great pattern
