  • Yarn: Loops and Threads Charisma (Bulky Weight, #5; 100% Acrylic; 109 yds/3.5; 100m/100g) CA = White, 7 balls; CB = Mint Sorbet – 4 balls.
  • Crochet Hook: 8 mm
  • Other: Measuring Tape, Scissors, Yarn Needle.

Measurements

  • Gauge: 8 sts = 4″.
  • Finished Size: 36″ wide by 49″.

Easy Chunky Crochet Blanket Pattern Information

Ch 72, or any multiple of 3.

Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and into each ch across. Turn. [71 sts]

Row 2: Ch 1, hdc in first st, sk next st, v-st in next st, *sk next 2 sts, v-st in next st; rep from * across to last 2 sts, sk next st, hdc in last st. Turn. [23 v-sts]

Row 3: Ch 3 (does not count as st), tr in first st, 3 tr in first v-st and into each v-st across. Tr in last st. Turn.  [23 v-sts]

Rows 4-49: Rep Rows 2 &3.

Row 50: Rep Row 2.

Row 51: Ch 1, sc in first st and into each st and ch across. 

Edging

Rnd 1: Ch 1, sc evenly around working 3 sc into each corner; join with a slip stitch in first  Fasten off.
