  • Gauge: 13 sts/chs = 4″.
  • Finished Size: 21″ circumference by 4″ wide.

Although given in one size, in a simple multiple of two for the starting chains you can easily adjust the size you need from child to adult. The width is also super easy to adjust by doing more or fewer repeats of the stitch pattern.

Twisted Crochet Ear Warmer Pattern Instructions

Ch 76, or any multiple of 2.

Row 1: Working into back bumps, sc in 2nd ch from hook and into each ch across. Turn. [75 sts]

Row 2: Ch 1, sc in first st, *ch 1, sk next st, sc in next st; rep from * across. Turn. [37 ch-1 sps]

Row 3: Ch 1, sc into first st and into each st and ch across. Turn. [75 sts]

Rows 4-13: Rep Rows 2 and 3. Fasten off, leaving a 10″ tail for sewing.

How to Sew a Twisted Ear Warmer - Step 1

To sew the twist, fold the band lengthwise with the Wrong Sides facing the outside.

With your tail end of the yarn, sew across making sure to go through all four layers.

Turn right side out to hide the seam.
