Crunch Stitch Twisted Ear Warmer Crochet Pattern Information
If you love simple textures, then you will enjoy making this crochet ear warmer, which is worked with the beautiful crunch stitch! The stitch is worked simply with the half double crochet and the slip stitch!
It’s a simple two-row repeat, making it great for relaxing!
Skill Level: Easy
Materials
- Yarn: Lion Brand Yarns – Vanna’s Choice (Worsted Weight, #4; 100% acrylic; 3.5oz/100g; 170 yds/156 m)
- Crochet Hook: J 6.00mm
- Other: Measuring Tape, Scissors, Yarn Needle.
I used Vanna’s Choice yarn with a J crochet hook. The yarn is a medium worsted weight, but it works well with a larger crochet hook. It gives you a good amount of stretch, which is always nice when it comes to ear warmers. If you need to substitute, Lion Brand Pound of Love is a good alternative.
Measurements – Size Chart
- Gauge: 12 sts = 4″.
- Finished Size: 21″ circumference by 3.5″ wide.
The finished measurements are approximately 21 inches in circumference by 3.5 inches wide. It will fit an adult medium, but is easy to adjust to other sizes as well! Both the circumference and width are super easy to modify for child and adult sizes. See this crochet ear warmer size chart. Just remember, the twist takes up about 1-2 inches, so you need to factor that in to ensure it doesn’t end up too small.
